2008 Nissan Rogue
So yesterday I decided it was time to for me to trade in my car, I had it for about seven or so years. The car, 2001 Lexus IS300, was still in excellent condition I had put a lot of money into it but I just decided it was time to go. With over 89,000 miles I knew that it was only a matter of time before I was going to have to start doing some really expensive maintenance work on the vehicle. So, I decided to go to the Nissan dealer yesterday and check out some of the new cars that they had there. I wanted something that would be great in the snow but fuel efficient as well. I saw that Nissan had just come out with a new vehicle called the Rogue. The outside had similar body styling to that of a Murano, but the outside styling alone wasn’t going make me sign the papers that quickly. So, I decided to take a SL model out for a test drive and to my surprise it had very good throttle response when gas was applied not showing that it is a 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder at all. The ride was that of car, it did not feel tipsy what so every, taking the turns very nicely, I said to myself, “this might actually be my next car”. So we went back to the dealer and that is where I learned that the gas mileage was very first-rate giving about 21 miles on city streets and 26 miles on the highway. Once I learned this I was sold. I decided to get a 2008 Nissan Rogue fully loaded. The SL model that I chose came with AWD, Bluetooth, Leather, Xenon Headlights, Bose Stereo System, and so much more all for under $30,000. This new small SUV that I now own is a great buy for anyone thinking about commuting during those harsh winter months, take a drive upstate to do some apple picking, or getting away to the beach for so some good rest and relaxation while still being mindful of the gas pump.
